Counselling and Psychotherapy
For many years now I have been passionate about finding out how to best promote positive mental health, emotional well-being and psychological resilience in myself and those around me. I love talking to people about their experiences and finding out about who they are, and discovering together with people what it means to be human and be well in a world that can at times be very challenging. I deeply believe in the healing potentials of compassion, empathy and self-awareness as a means of healing psychological wounds and helping us reach our full potential.
In 2018 I completed my Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, and in 2021 completed a further Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I also worked as a mental health support worker for four years, and have experience providing emotional support to people through difficult and challenging times in their lives, helping them to regain their self-confidence and sense of hope for the future.
My practice hours are Monday - Thursday daytime and evening. I am currently holding sessions remotely via Zoom or by phone until it is safe to conduct face-to-face sessions again.
I endeavor to make my practice LGBTQ+ friendly and an open and welcoming space for people from all cultures and backgrounds.
