Counselling and Psychotherapy
For many years now I have been passionate about finding out how to best promote positive mental health, emotional well-being and psychological resilience in myself and those around me. I love talking to people about their experiences and finding out about who they are, and discovering together with people what it means to be human and be well in a world that can at times be very challenging. I deeply believe in the healing potentials of compassion, empathy and self-awareness as a means of healing psychological wounds and helping us reach our full potential.
I have recently completed my Diploma in Transactional Analysis Counselling, and I'm working towards a further Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and abide by their ethical framework. I have also worked as a mental health support worker for the last four years, and have experience providing emotional support to people through difficult and challenging times in their lives, helping them to regain their self-confidence and sense of hope for the future.
My practice hours are Monday - Thursday daytime and evening. I am currently holding sessions remotely via Zoom or by phone until it is safe to conduct face-to-face sessions again.
I endeavor to make my practice LGBTQ+ friendly and an open and welcoming space for people from all cultures and backgrounds.
